How you can help
The public can help take action by adopting a Grizzly Bear, as this is support National Wildlife Federation's (NWF) work to protect grizzly bears. People can simply send letters to where Grizzly bears are threatened and tell your concern about Grizzly bears conservation. Public can also donate money towards organization like NWF for the help of saving Grizzly bears.
Current and historical conservation efforts
In the past Grizzly Bears were not a species that were thought to be declining in population. In recent years conservation efforts have had major investments due to dramatic decline population. British Colombia is making more parks and protected areas to reestablish the low Grizzly Bear population. For example, the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary is an effort taking in British Colombia to inhabit threatened species. Other efforts such as limited public access, a strict no hunting policy have been the solution to make this a safe area for the bears.
